AI Quick Reports

What is an AI Quick Report?

An AI Quick Report is an AI-generated report available to you almost immediately upon the completion of a survey. It is produced by combining human expertise in how to interpret and diagnose consumer responses from your survey with AI. In just a few clicks, Zappi now provides users a concise summary of their research results and diagnosis of why.

These reports, or sometimes refered to across Zappi as "stories," are dynamically generated, with content varying based on the survey's results. The approach uses a decision-tree logic to maintain relevance and conciseness, ensuring that each report is tailored to the unique results for that individual stimulus.

Each report is structured to include:

  • Stimulus preview and executive summary: A quick read on the overall outcome of the test.
  • Key performance indicators: A summary of the performance for all key KPIs to help orientate the strengths and weaknesses of the stimulus.
  • Diagnostic sections: Detailed analyses based on the performance of specific KPIs, providing a deep dive into areas of concern.
  • Demographic and Contextual Information: Background information to give context to the data, aiding understanding and decision-making.

Which solutions are AI Quick Reports available on?

Innovation System: AI Quick Reports are currently available within the Innovation System for Activate It and Activate It Early.

Guide to Using AI Quick Reports

How can I access an AI Quick Report?

Once you have selected the ad/stimulus you want to analyze, you will be given the option for ‘Quick Report’ or ‘View analysis’. We recommend starting with your Quick Report to get a head start in understanding consumer response to your stimulus. Feedback so far suggests that this will get you 90% or so through what you need to know.  Later you can click on ‘Charts’ and this will take you to the regular reports where you can dive deeper, slice and dice data, change your norms, filter on subgroups etc.

How to get the most value from an AI Quick Report?

AI Quick Reports are your ideal first place to understand how your stimulus has been received and why.  It should be used to give you a head start on consumer responses and the recommendations you want to take to your business. It means you aren’t starting from a blank slate.

Once you have read and understood the strengths and opportunities, you will likely want to go into the full charts to dive deeper:

  • Compare to different benchmarks
  • Look at subgroups
  • Filter data by different measures to dive deeper into the ‘why’
  • Get closer to the nuance of the consumer response by reading individual responses

Whilst we have built significant human expertise into the Quick Report, the report is still generated by AI meaning that while it will provide a clear picture of the strengths and weaknesses it will not have all the nuance and context of the ‘art’ side of advertising.  Some of the language may be imperfect or abrupt.  But rest assured that the summary of the closed data and calculations are driven by built-in expertise so you can be confident in its accuracy.  And the same expertise points AI to the right open data to get an initial diagnosis of 'why' before you dive deeper.

Can I edit my Quick Report?

No, not yet - but this is planned.

Why is a specific analysis missing from my Quick Report  which was seen in a different report?

A: Certain diagnostics are triggered only if related KPIs underperform, focusing on areas needing improvement. For example, the Viewer Retention by Second is only shown if the Watched Full Ad metric is significantly below the norm.

Can I adjust the norms, confidence interval, or other settings in a Quick Report?

A: No, the settings are predefined. We intend to get as close as possible to a single click report which means we attempt to pre-set all values and surface insights without the complexity.  You can still adjust norms, confidence intervals and any other ‘slicing and dicing’ by going into the full ‘view analysis’ area after getting your head start with the AI Quick Report.

Why do the norms in my report differ from those in a Quick Report?

A: Data for reports use the default norm settings as of the survey’s closing month, which might differ if altered in other reports (either date or chosen norm comparison)

Why isn’t there a link to the Quick Report after my survey closed?

A: This could be due to one of two reasons:

    1. It could be an old order before AI reports, or "stories," were available
    2. It may not yet be available on the solution you are using

How can I provide feedback to optimize the Quick Report in the future?

We will continue to optimize and build in further human expertise to make these yet more insightful and actionable over time.  Further context will be added so the machine becomes even more sophisticated in the insights and recommendations provided.

We will also build functionality that enables you to edit the Quick Report to better reflect your business language and build in wider insights plus further analysis you have done.  This will then allow you to share the report as the main insight and recommendations from the project with stakeholders either directly in the platform or as a PDF.
