Project Scoping Tool [Beta]
The Project Scoping Tool helps you to quickly and easily scope and calculate the price of your project. Access it from the price icon in the side menu, provide a few key details and receive an instant estimate. Once you’ve scoped your project and calculated your price, you can move directly into configuring your project, with some inputs automatically carried over.
Total prices are for estimation purposes only and may be subject to change.
This tool is in Beta which means we are actively working to add functionality and make improvements. We value your feedback, so please let us know what you think!
How to use it
- To access the Project Scoping Tool, click on the Project Scoping icon located on the side bar.
- Select the currency you’d like to use.
- Choose the solution you’re planning to use from the drop down list.
- Select the market you’d like to run your study in and the Category you want to use in your project.
- You may be asked for additional details, like the stage of development.
- Based on your choices so far, you will be able to see if there is a norm available for your study. You can hover over the norm to see more details.
- Depending on the solution you’ve chosen, you may be asked to select an audience.
- You can specify how many respondents you want to collect, number of stims you plan to use and how many custom questions you’ll add.
- Optional Measures:
Certain solutions will have additional measures or modules that you can include in your project which will impact the final cost. These are optional, meaning you can choose to toggle them on or off. Here’s a list of the solutions and the corresponding optional measures:
Product |
Details |
---|---|
Activate It | With Activate It, you have the choice between 2 pricing modules for your project:
When using the Project Scoping Tool, only include the number of stimuli that will get the ‘Reasonable Price’ pricing module. |
Screen It | With Screen It, you can add optional measures like ‘attributes, behavior changes, distinctiveness, advantage, relevance, believability, and cultural sensitivity’. Each of these have an additional fee, so will impact the price, but you can add one optional measure on a Screen It for free. In the Project Scoping Tool, you can toggle these measures on or off to see the impact of the additional fee to your project price. |
Optimize Pack | With Optimize Pack, you can add a ‘shelf module’ to test your pack in concept. The shelf module incurs an additional fee. In the Project Scoping Tool, specify how many of your stimuli you would like to add the shelf module to in order to get the estimated price. |
- Once you’re happy with your configuration, select ‘Calculate’ to get your price estimate. Here you’ll be able to view a price breakdown of your project including the total number of respondents. Click ‘Add’ to select a credit pot and see your discounts (if applicable). If you have questions about discounts, please reach out to your CSM.
Note: This is an estimate and the final cost is subject to change.
- If you’d like to proceed with the project, you can click the ‘Configure this project’ button. This creates a new configuration and transfers some of the inputs, making it easier to get started.
- Please leave any feedback in the ‘Give Feedback’ button above the form if you have any questions or experience any problems.
