Amplify AI is built to test high volumes of social video assets quickly and affordably. Optimize your investment decisions by rapidly triaging a continuous pipeline of content on its ability to drive mental availability and brand,or use it for boosting decisions alongside other performance and media metrics.

Data Asset Quality

Zappi entirely owns and controls the human training data asset underpinning Amplify AI. This structure guarantees:

  • Representativeness: A broad data asset with fewer training gaps.
  • Consistency: Data is not reliant on varying, external customer collection methods.
  • Stability: Automated mechanisms continuously detect and correct for model drift over time, ensuring the model improves rather than degrades.

Proven Accuracy Boundaries

In 84% of cases, the predicted Amplify AI value falls within 1 point of the corresponding human-produced research score. The prediction engine is optimized to be at its absolute strongest when identifying your highest and lowest-performing ads:

In side-by-side analysis with human-produced research, we find that when Amplify AI predicts an ad will be weak (scoring 1 out of 5):

  • The ad scores Weak (score of 1 ) in 64% of cases, or Limited (score of 2)  in 27% of cases when tested with human respondents.
  • If an ad is flagged as weak, it is highly unlikely you are discarding a great ad.

When Amplify AI predicts an ad will be excellent (scoring 5 out of 5):

  • The ad scores Excellent (score of 5) in 57% of cases, or Strong (score of 4) in 43% of cases when tested with human respondents.
  • If an ad is flagged as strong, you can confidently choose to invest in it, knowing it will perform well in market.

Input Parameters

  • Asset Type: Social video assets for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Order Limits: High-volume - up to 100 stimuli (social videos created for the same platform, country and category) can be tested within a single order. Multiple orders of up to 100 stimuli can be launched at once.

Methodological Framework

Creative Power is the headline metric from the human version of our light Amplify solution, and a close relative to Sales Impact (from Amplify). It is calculated as a weighted average of the three determining factors of effective creative: the ad’s ability to ReachResonate, and generate the intended Response.

Amplify AI predicts this Creative Power score and presents the prediction on a 1–5 scale that can be used easily to rank ads, identify the strongest to learn from, and benchmark yourself against.

Configuration checklist

  • Videos: Upload up to 100 videos within the same country,category, and social platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or Facebook).
  • Ensure you add the following information about your stimuli: 
    • Broad category
    • Ad name
    • Brand information 
    • Social platform intent**
    • Tags
      • Tagging your stimuli allows you to categorize your content efficiently, as well as unlocking additional analytic capabilities
        • Standardized tags - taxonomy defined by your organization
        • Custom and smart tags

Questionnaire flow

Amplify AI is returning a prediction of your ads strengths and weaknesses based on its training dataset, so it is not sending out a questionnaire to respondents in the traditional human-produced research sense. However, here are the key questions asked of humans used in the training of the model.

Overall Emotion Respondents choose which emojis best describe how they feel about the ad.
Strength of Emotion Respondents indicate how strongly they felt the emotions they selected.
Ad Distinctiveness Respondents indicate how different the ad is from others they’ve seen.
Brand Connection A series of questions about the respondent’s impression of the ad in relation to the brand as they perceive it.
Persuasion Respondents indicate how much more or less likely they are to choose the brand now they’ve seen the ad.
Likes/Dislikes Respondents share their likes and dislikes of the ad.

Reporting and Analysis


Your Amplify AI results typically populate in 30 to 60 minutes post-submission. Here’s how to interpret the results.


The 3Rs Framework​

The headline Creative Power score is derived directly from three foundational pillars:

  • Reach: The ad's ability to be noticed and remembered for the brand. Broadly reflects the ad’s ability to make or keep the brand mentally available 
    • Composite of:
      • Brand Connection
      • Ad Distinctiveness
      • Strength of emotion
  • Resonance: The ad's ability to create a positive emotional connection. Broadly reflects the ad’s ability to both retain attention and ensure that when the brand comes to mind, it is powerfully and positively.
    • Calculated from the distribution of dominant emotions felt, with strongest positive emotions receiving highest weighting.
  • Response: Whether people feel more predisposed to the brand having seen the ad. Broadly reflects whether the ad makes the brand more likely to be chosen, reflecting positive associations and relevance of the brand to needs or occasions (category entry points).
    • Measured through impact on likelihood to choose the brand.

The 1-5 Performance Scale

All reporting measures are mapped to a standardized, universally interpreted 1-5 scale to simplify cross-asset comparisons:

  • 1 - Weak
  • 2 - Limited
  • 3 - Solid
  • 4 - Strong
  • 5 - Excellent


The Quick Report Format

Amplify AI projects deliver a streamlined Quick Report layout to enable instant investment decisions.

What is Included: Creative Power score (1-5); individual Reach, Resonance, and Response scores (1-5); high-level performance indicators (1-5) for ad distinctiveness, brand connection, and emotional strength; and a text-based summary of creative strengths and weaknesses.


What is Excluded: To protect the speed and affordability of this high-volume solution, cross-tabs and raw interactive charts are not included in the reporting.
