Quick Reports for Activate It and Amplify

Overview

Once a report is generated, you can customize it by changing the benchmark or filtering to a specific audience, without rebuilding it from scratch. Reports are saved automatically as searchable objects you can return to, update, and share at any time.

Where reports live

Reports are saved to Saved Work. This area now houses both saved charts and the new saved reports.

  • Reports save automatically as soon as you view results.
  • Reports are private by default. Share a report with a specific person or group from the 3-dot menu.

  • Favorite a report to keep track of it.

  • Filter or sort by date, creator, or type.

  • Admins can see all reports in their account, as if each had been shared with them. Other users see only their own reports plus anything shared with them.
  • Amplify reports appear in both the Amplify Hub and Saved Work. Reports from other products appear in Saved Work only.

Customizing a report

Open a report and click Customize to open a side panel.

From here you can change:

Benchmark (norm) Swap the default norm for another from your configured list. Each option shows its sample size. Norms with fewer than 20 ads cannot be selected, to protect statistical validity. Norms with a low respondent count can still be selected, but display a warning.

Profile (filter) Filter the report to a specific audience. Unlike a standard filter, a Profile filters both your survey data and the benchmark together, so the whole report reflects that audience. A separate respondent-count threshold triggers a "use with discretion" warning when a Profile's sample is small. Customization is only available on reports where norms and Profiles exist.

Other things to know:

  • Select Restore to default at any point to revert to the report's original benchmark and Profile.
  • Changes regenerate the report in place and autosave continuously. A "last saved" timestamp tracks the latest update, and version history is kept behind the scenes.
  • The active benchmark and Profile are shown as a tag at the top of the report.
    •

  • When a Profile is selected, the profile summary section is hidden, since the report is already scoped to one audience.
