Users can now compare stims across orders in a single Quick Report. This feature is available for Activate it, Activate It Early and Amplify 2.0 Solutions (except Amplify Early Ideas or Creative Storyboard 2.0).
Enhanced flow for Screen It and Optimize Reach

The ‘Add Consultancy’ sections for Screen It 2.0 and Optimize Reach have been updated:
- Screen It 2.0: users can specify how many stims they want analyzed. The price is based on a tiered system and adjusts for every 5 additional stims.
- Optimize Reach: Consultancy includes a high level analysis of all stimuli and a deep dive into 5. Additional fees will apply for in-depth analysis of more than 5 stims.
Expanded Geographic Targeting By City Tier In China

Geographic targeting in China now includes Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4, and Tier 5 cities. Previously, targeting was limited to Tier 1 cities (Beijing, Shanghai, and remaining Tier 1 locations).
This change applies to all audiences and solutions.
Screen It Text and Image 2.0 – Stimuli Limit Update

We’ve updated the maximum number of stimuli allowed per order in Screen It Text and Image 2.0, reducing the limit from 80 to 60.

Consolidating Autocoded Verbatim charts on Creative 2.0

Creative Video 2.0, Creative Static 2.0, and Creative Audio 2.0 have been updated so that the autocoded Likes and Dislikes charts for these products now align with the rest of the Creative modular suite.
All selected stimuli appear in a single chart with themes combined by default. Users can view themes by stim via the sidebar.
Single platform type selection for Amplify Digital (Youtube and Facebook)

Ads can now only be tested on one platform (YouTube or Facebook) per order for Amplify Digital (Youtube and Facebook). Selecting both will trigger an error. This it to prevent analysis issues caused when both platforms are selected within an order.
English PDFs for non-English surveys
July 29, 2025
When previewing a survey, you now have an option to download the PDF in English, even if the original survey is in another language. This update is available to all users across all products (except Acacia, MARC, Prioritize It, Concept test, Creative Audio, Creative Static and Creative Video).
Improved Incidence Rate (IR) estimation powered by PureSpectrum (phase one)

Incident Rate (IR) estimations have been improved for across the Zappi platform. This change introduces a more data-driven and consistent approach, leveraging historical data and PureSpectrum as the single source of truth.

Refreshed Error Messages

Platform error pages are now clearer and more simplified. Technical details have been removed, language has been simplified, and clearer call-to-actions have been added to help users understand what to do next. These updates apply to common 400 and 500 error states across the platform.
Reason for Emotion chart

A new interactive chart has been added for Amplify Storyboard called Reason For Emotion. This new chart allows users to:
- Click on individual words in the word cloud to explore all associated verbatim comments.
- Filter by emotion to uncover more granular verbatims tied to specific emotional responses.

Multilingual sampling available in Saudi Arabia

Respondents can select either Arabic or English when completing surveys within the same sample. This is available upon request for customers with research needs in the Saudi market.
Organization management improvements

It's easier for users to join, manage, and stay connected with the right organization on Zappi:
- New users are prompted to join an existing organization at sign-up.
- Users can accept pending invites, view orgs they’re eligible to join, and leave an org, all from the “My Account” section on the platform.
- If you’ve been invited to another org, we’ll show a prompt when you log in.

Enhanced credit pot display

Previously, on the Project Scoping Tool, all credit pots were listed, including those with zero credits. Now, only credit pots that have remaining credits are displayed.
New translation option in support form

New users can select or join their existing organization upon sign-up. Available for SSO users (Enterprise or Premium with SSO Add-On).
Correcting the default norm on Creative 2.0

We’ve corrected the default norm for Creative Video 2.0 and Creative Static 2.0:
- The norm for Creative Video 2.0 is now Country>Stage of development
- The norm for Creative Static 2.0 is now Country
This new norm will automatically apply to all charts. Users will have the option to select the original norm from the dropdown menu at any time or request the default norm to be permanently changed by an admin.
All newly generated Quick Reports will use the revised norm. This update will not automatically change previously generated Quick Reports - they will remain as they are using the original norm.
Randomize grid-type custom questions

Grid-type custom questions now have a toggle for column randomization in the configuration interface. This is supported in all solutions and available across both the current and new configuration experience.

Methodology chapter added to Screen It

A Methodology chapter has been added to the Screen It report section on the platform. This brings Screen It in line with other Zappi products and provides customers with context about how results were gathered and structured.
Creative Audio 2.0

The new Creative Audio 2.0 provides a better diagnosis of ad effectiveness, allowing better optimization for your ads. Users can now capture nuanced, moment-by-moment emotional responses on audio files for radio and podcast advertising. Better organization for pending users

Chart Improvements, Activate It 2.0

Our Concept Classification Chart now includes a toggle that allows you to switch between Trial Unpriced and Trial Priced. You can view either Trial Unpriced calculated based on Purchase Intent of the unpriced concept (assuming a reasonable price) or Trial Priced calculated based on Purchase Intent of your priced concept.
Additional changes to other Activate It 2.0 charts include:
- On the Profiles chart, the key measures dropdown is now easier to find, moved higher on the page.
- Cross-stim significance testing is now available on the Overall Emotion pages.
- In the Appendix, we have added a chart that gives a database (percentile) view of the key metrics.

Serviced Audience Run fee

Where appropriate, the Serviced Audience Run fee will now automatically appear in the order configuration. This fee applies to audiences which are not optimal and require manual setup or servicing by the Fulfillment team before they can be launched. The fee is $1,000 (or equivalent in the currencies we support) per order ID.

New chart color schemes

New consistent chart color schemes have been introduced across the platform. All appropriate charts now feature more vibrant RAG colors and color-coded stimuli now have a more distinct color palette. Color-coding behavior related to significance to norm and consistent color coding of stimuli remains the same.
Ad-to-Ad Sig testing on all Amplify Solutions

Sig testing between ads is now available on all Amplify 2.0 solutions and all charts within. Users can now toggle between comparing to norm and comparing across selected stimuli. With ad-to-ad sig testing, users can identify their strongest ads and if one ad is meaningfully stronger than another.

Removing user groups for sharing projects

Profile 'Low Base Size' warning

Now, for absolute scores, users will now be notified via a warning label when base size drops below n=100 and charts are hidden when base size drops below n=30. For percentile scores, we will inform users when base size drops below n=150 and the hide chart when base size drops below n=50.

Confidence Level on All Amplify Charts

There is now a customizable confidence level setting for all eligible charts used by the Amplify Suite. Users can select from 3 preset confidence levels (90%, 95% or 99%) when browsing a wider range of charts than before, on any solution where the charts are present. Improved Percentile Calculation

There is now an enhancement of our percentile calculation on select solutions to provide a more accurate ranking. Our updated method considers each score's position within the distribution, using the dataset's mean and standard deviation—not just individual scores to give users a more nuanced view of performance. Due to the change, you may notice small differences in the Distribution by Measures when reviewing historical testing on the following solutions:

New User Warning for 'Incomplete Projects'

When you view a report for a project that is still in field collecting responses, there will now be a reminder to not draw conclusions from the results. This will reduce the likelihood of users interpreting results which are incomplete or have not had weighting applied. Exports are also disabled until fieldwork completes. When the study completes, we email the user to inform them their results are ready.
Removing Comments Functionality

Improved Charts in Amplify 2.0

Starting with Amplify Early Idea, Storyboard and Boardomatic 2.0 solutions, we are introducing a new chart across the full system that allows users to see a norm for key message and know whether their messaging is coming through more clearly than other ads, in line with other ads or less clearly than other ads. The new output shows an average across all ads/ideas included in their selected norm.
Removing Screen It 1.0 from Domains Not Accessing It

Change to Default Country and Currency Selection

New projects will now use your Billing Country as the default. If no Billing Country is set, it will default to the US. This will not affect cloning or copying from previous orders.
Default currency will now be based on your Billing Country. If no Billing Country is set, it will default to USD. If you've changed your currency, this will remain as is. This change will not affect currencies driven by credit pots or subscriptions.

Sample Size Selector | Amplify 1.0

New flexibility in sample size at the order level is now available, so users can set a sample size of anything from 200 to 800 respondents per cell. The default sample sizes remains the same.
Previously on Amplify Digital, Storyboard and Boardomatic 1.0, there was a fixed sample size per cell (200 for Storyboard and Boardomatic, 400 for Digital). This now matches Amplify TV 1.3 and the rest of the 2.0 Amplify suite which already offered sample flexibility.
