Expanded Markets for Concept Optimizer

October 10, 2024

Concept Optimizer, as part of Activate It 2.0 and Activate It Early, is now available in all markets (previously only available in the US and UK).

Update to Audience Search

September 30, 2024

We have enhanced our audience search to provide better results when the names include special characters. This change better addresses searches for business unit-specific audiences.

AI Quick Reports, Amplify TV Early (Beta)

An AI Quick Report is an AI-generated report available upon the completion of a survey which provides a concise summary of results and diagnosis of why.  It is produced by combining human expertise in how to interpret and diagnose consumer responses from your survey with AI.

AI Quick Reports are currently available for Amplify TV (as well as previously released within the Innovation System for Activate It and Activate It Early) on all industry variations for single ad analysis only. It will become available on more solutions, and provide comparisons in the near future. AI stories are written in English but can accommodate all countries of fieldwork.

Improved Charts in Amplify 2.0

Starting with Amplify Early Idea, Storyboard and Boardomatic 2.0 solutions, we are introducing a new chart across the full system that allows users to see a norm for key message and know whether their messaging is coming through more clearly than other ads, in line with other ads or less clearly than other ads. The new output shows an average across all ads/ideas included in their selected norm.

Removing Screen It 1.0 from Domains Not Accessing It

September 26, 2024

As of today, Zappi will remove the Screen It 1.0 from domains that haven’t used the solution in the past 6 months to improve the user journey for selecting solutions. Note, with key product updates released this summer to enhance Screen It 2.0, users should default to this solution moving forward.

Duplicate Without Stimuli Removed from Options

“Duplicate without Stimuli” option has been removed for all modular solutions, as this would only copy over the country and audience, without duplicating any other configuration inputs.

Roadmap Link Removed from Navigation

We have removed the roadmap link from the main navigation in an effort to reduce content and ensure the navigation most meaningful to our users.

Update to Precision Measures (Decimal Places)

August 30, 2024

With this update, we have corrected the precision measure settings across 7 metrics (Watched Full Ad, Overall Emotion, Emotional Intensity, Purchase Uplift, Cultural Sensitivity Check, Viral Potential, and Category Drivers) across all relevant solutions in our Amplify 2.0 Suite to ensure correct interpretation of these metrics.

Restore Percentage Sign to Group Metrics Overview Charts

In the Detailed Metrics Overview summary chart, we have restored the percentage sign to group metrics overview charts on Amplify TV 1.3, Amplify Storyboard 1.0, Amplify Boardomatic 1.0 and Amplify Digital 1.0.

Improved Viewer Retention Chart

August 27, 2024

To ensure viewer retention charts are easy to interpret, theses key enhancements are now live on Amplify TV and Digital products (1.0/1.3 and 2.0 versions):

  • The chart rescales to the data being shown - if there’s a drop off in viewers, you’ll see that more clearly
  • The key retention metrics are included & contained within one chart, including average length of ad watched
  • The stimuli plays in real time within the chart

Expanded Permissions for User Role

With this change to our role-based permissions, users will now have the ability to edit and launch projects that are shared with them. More specifically, a user will now have following permissions on shared and public projects: 

  • Edit 
  • Launch
  • Duplicate

Ask Anything Enhancements: New Quick Tools

There are now 7 new quick tools available for deeper insights on your assets. These include:

  • Heatmaps to understand areas of interest on an image
  • Verbatim Analysis (text and images) for coded themes of open end reactions
  • Text Highlighter to determine which portions are like/dislike and why
  • Video Reaction for coded emotional themes using emojis to assess sentiment
  • A/B Tests to compare the preference between two images
  • Quick Rating for rapid feedback on up to 5 images

Enhanced Optimize Price 2.0 FMCG & QSR

For Price Perceptions, there is a new Priced Concept Purchase Likelihood question for more comprehensive concept assessment, as well as a new Change Due to Price measure that compares Priced and Unpriced Concept Purchase Likelihood and helps you better understand pricing impact.

For Reasonable Price, there is now a question on Premiumness so you know if your concept is worth paying more for.

There are also now more clear configuration instructions and analysis explanation notes.

Enhanced Activate It 2.0 FMCG & QSR

We have further improved  Activate it to now include:
  • New Priced Concept Purchase Likelihood question for more comprehensive concept assessment; for unpriced concepts we added a read on Premiumness
  • New Change Due to Price measure that compares Priced and Unpriced Concept Purchase Likelihood and helps you better understand pricing impact
  • New emoji assessment instead of the Love question for a more intuitive and granular read on appeal
  • New Concept Order Quantity & Impact to Category & Brand Purchase Frequency questions for better understanding of growth potential (QSR only)
  • Additional smaller improvements including ability to add a different respondent facing concept name at configuration, simpler measure names and a new auto-coded respondent quotes chart

Change to Default Country and Currency Selection

July 22, 2024

New projects will now use your Billing Country as the default. If no Billing Country is set, it will default to the US. This will not affect cloning or copying from previous orders.

Default currency will now be based on your Billing Country. If no Billing Country is set, it will default to USD. If you've changed your currency, this will remain as is. This change will not affect currencies driven by credit pots or subscriptions.

New ScreenIt 2.0 (Image & Text)

With this update, the following enhancements are now live:

  • Improved Winners Summary with sig ranking & thumbnails
  • Key Measures Summary chart can be sorted by winners' rank
  • Heatmaps are now also available for low respondents count (Heatmaps are for Image only)
  • Chart descriptions are more actionable
  • Predefined list of attributes are now available at configuration

Sample Size Selector | Amplify 1.0

New flexibility in sample size at the order level is now available, so users can set a sample size of anything from 200 to 800 respondents per cell. The default sample sizes remains the same.

Previously on Amplify Digital, Storyboard and Boardomatic 1.0, there was a fixed sample size per cell (200 for Storyboard and Boardomatic, 400 for Digital). This now matches Amplify TV 1.3 and the rest of the 2.0 Amplify suite which already offered sample flexibility.

Consistent Bar Chart Color Coding

Users will notice changes in bar chart colors across all Zappi reports, with a new method for setting these colors. Colors will now be used consistently and maintained as users navigate through the solution, making it easier to identify which stimuli they are viewing.


User Label for Zappi Certified Consultants

If you use Zappi consultants, these users are now labelled on the platform to easily distinguish from others when sharing projects and visiting the Users page. Use the filter on the Users page and quickly identify relevant users when sharing projects with the Zappi consultant label.
